Living Happily Ever After - Wedding Anniversaries

When you get married the years quickly go by and the number of wedding anniversaries you have start to pile up. Wedding anniversaries are important to each spouse, though more women seem to remember the actual date better than men. A wedding anniversary is the one day out of the year that couples can spend time reminiscing about their wedding day and night. There are couples who make their wedding anniversaries simple by just giving a nice gift, and others who make it as special as their wedding day.
A lot of spouses decide to take a mini-vacation on their wedding anniversary and leave their work and kids at home for a couple of days. Many go to the country or favorite resort for the weekend Other couples decide to make it a family event and stay at home or at a hotel overnight. Making your next wedding anniversary memorable isn’t hard and just takes some imagination.
If you want to take your spouse out of town, think of all the places you two had great times at. Take your special someone on a romantic beach getaway to spice things up. Go to Hawaii or any other tropical place, even Brazil!
You can spend the days relaxing on the beach or exploring the tropics. Take a scenic trip while you are there and enjoy tasting different wines and foods.
If you have a budget due to kids and the other things that comes with having a family, just book a night or two stay at a nice hotel. Go to a bed and breakfast; there are quite of few to choose from that won’t cost you an arm and a leg. Relax, and get breakfast brought to you in the mornings, enjoy the peace!
To make your wife or husband feel really special, get the kids involved for a few of your wedding anniversaries. Ask them to create cards or even a play for you and your spouse to watch. Planning something with your children makes everything ten times as sweet. You kids can help you decorate the house or bake a cake.
You can also have a little get together at your house. Invite close family and friends to come and help you celebrate another year of you two being together. You can come up with a party theme or keep it casual. You can all watch the wedding ceremony together and play fun spouse games with everyone.
Heck, if you are really looking to do something exciting, go ahead and get married again. Many married couples decide to re-new their vows after about 10 years or more of marriage on their wedding anniversaries. Make your backyard into a reception area and invite your family and friends. You two can get the chance to say your vows to each other and talk about how it seem like yesterday!
