Wedding entertainment usually consists of a live band or just a DJ. You can hire a wedding singer, wedding DJ, even full wedding bands that will keep your reception rockin’ and everyone happy. A DJ will usually play songs that he has choosen, but has no problem getting request’s from the bride and groom or the guests. If you want something a little more subtle you can hire a pianist to play at your reception. This can give a relaxing atmosphere if you don’t want things to get too crazy. You can also play Latin, Swing, or Rock and Roll if you wish.

Live wedding entertainment is great for wedding receptions, just make sure that you are okay to listening to one genre of music for three to four hours. A DJ works if you want a nice mix from any era and musician. The important thing is to make sure that you are happy with the music selection. It is your wedding and there is no point in listening to music that you don’t particularly like.

Also, make sure that you schedule caterer’s way in advance. Figure out what kind of food you would like to be eating and find someone who is reliable and will fill you order. There have been plenty caterer disasters at multiple wedding receptions because someone didn’t schedule soon enough in advance. Don’t be afraid to check up on the catering company either and make sure that they will be ready for the upcoming event. There is nothing worse than going to wedding receptions and there isn’t any or enough food for everyone invited.
